  • Yes. Please visit here to book through insurance. I am in network with Aetna, Quest Behavioral Health, Oscar, Optum, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts virtual network, and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ virtual network

If I am not in network with your insurance carrier, I can provide a superbill, or an itemized receipt of services that you can submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.

I am also a provider with the Georgia Fund for Perinatal Mental Health, an application based fund for up to 15 fully funded therapy sessions if you meet the criteria.

  • There is no right or wrong answer to this question, but therapy is a process that unfolds naturally over the course of the relationship between client and therapist, which happens over time. It’s ultimately up to you and what you need to feel well. We can work together to determine your goals and what is right for you.

Sessions are most often weekly or biweekly, 50 minutes in length and held via telehealth. To get the most out of the process, consistency is important, whether you are wanting a short or long term treatment plan.

  • Before the first session I will send you an electronic initial questionnaire with information that will help me get to know you, consent forms, credit card authorization, and relevant mental health screening. The questionnaire guides our first session and helps me understand how you are feeling and what you hope to gain from therapy.

  • Absolutely! One of the benefits of telehealth is that you can do therapy in your own environment, bring baby, and feed and care for them during session as needed.

  • Reach out and schedule a free 15 minute phone call. You can ask any questions you have to see if starting therapy is a good fit for you.

If you decide you’d like to start therapy sessions, I will send you some paperwork to get started and we can schedule our first session.

If it doesn’t feel like a good fit, I have referrals to share. It’s so important that you feel comfortable with your therapist, so that you can get the most out of it!

  • I use a platform called Simple Practice, a secure electronic health record that allows you to schedule appointments, communicate with me, and provides a link to each telehealth session.

You will get a reminder with a link prior to any scheduled session and you can use your mobile device or computer. It’s a good idea to make sure you’re in a private environment that you feel comfortable in for therapy.
